Music instruments come in various forms. There are different categories of musical instruments including percussion instruments, wind instruments, string instruments, and brass musical instruments. These musical instruments produce sound through different ways.

The amplification technology has helped the musicians to be able to increase the power of the musical instruments and this helped produce sound that could reach a larger radius and better quality of sound over longer distances.
The amplification technology was instrumental in leading to the creation of the electric guitar. The electric guitar, unlike the acoustic guitar, depends on electric power and amplification to produce audible sound. The vibrations of the strings on an electric guitar are converted into electric signals and amplified to produce perceptible sound. Before the discovery of amplification, vocal performers could only entertain a limited number of people. Today a vocalist can attain an audience of thousands thanks to the amplification technology.

The gadgets provide the users with many advantages in terms of portability, versatility and affordability.
